Technological Advancements:
Ever since the first mobile that came into existence on
the year 1973 from Motorola, it has gone
through many design and technological advancements. The most popular one that is used
worldwide are the smartphones. Smartphones have witnessed several advancements done in the
field of connectivity, security, multimedia etc. Let us discuss some of the in this paper:
1. Connectivity
Initially the basic task of mobile phones was to connect people via voice calls. But this voice
calls were also restricted to some areas only. But due to advancements in the infrastructure
now we can make calls from any part of the country. Back then voice calls and internet
connectivity was not possible simultaneously but todays thanks to VOLTE (Voice over LTE)
we can make voice calls without having any effect on internet connectivity. Different
connectivity standards have also came into existence like 4G LTE which can support a very
high data Transfer. WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth are also a part of them.
