style. Refer the guide from the WSU library website
(https://library.westernsydney.edu.au/main/guides/referencing-citation) for
referencing. Work should be your original work.

This
section requires you to write a report as a way of answering questions. Please
consider the following scenario based on your ID. N is the last digit of your ID.
(N=4 in my case)

For
question 2, please select a house base on your ID number (ID ending with 0-1,
NSW; ID ending with 2-3, VIC; ID ending with 4-5, South Australia, ID ending
with 6-7, NT, ID ending with 8-9, QLD). Use domain/real estate application tool/website
to find the household/residential building floor plan.

In
addition, the house has the following characteristics:

No of
people = (1 + whole number of (N/2)) (both husband and wife are working from 9
AM to 4 PM and each travels separately by car on average N*5 km; kids walk to
school between 9 AM and 3 PM but all reaches home at around 5 PM).

For
other uses, car travels N*11 km per week on average. Car uses the petrol at 8 +
N*0.4 Km/L. The average cost for petrol is $1.2/L

Cook
top and hot water uses LPG gas. Energy obtained from gas use is around 90+N*5
MJ/day and the gas utility bills every three months as follows:

Find the
appropriate pricing of electricity charges from your internet research, and
list as part of the report. Mark counted with other parts.

Every
person on an average uses 4 hr of lighting in the house. Assume all the lights
are incandescent (70 W) for odd N values; and 50% incandescent (70 W) + 50% of
tube bulb (40 W) for even N values.

Assume
the house has some insulation (can tolerate 18±0.5
oC, has
single-layered glass window) for N values 0-4; and good insulation (can
tolerate 18±N*0.5
oC has single layered glass window) for N values
5-9. Air conditioner (A/C) runs when the Tmax, average is above the tolerable
temperature. Use typical monthly temperature (Tmax, average

=(
monthly
average high + monthly average low)/2) as shown in Figure 1 (Please use similar
type monthly temperature for your selected state). A/C only works when all the
people are in the home, i.e from 6 PM to 12 AM on weekdays and anytime between
6 AM and 12 AM during weekends depending on the temperature. A/C consumes 2500
+200*N W when it runs. Chose appropriate approximations and calculation
procedure as needed.

Executive Summary
Household plays a significant role in the framing of environmental policy with regard to national and political strategies. The extensive aspects of the sustainability system can be effectively region adopted
with the efficient functioning of the household system to address the efficiency of the widespread environmental awareness in the context of environmental responsibility. This particular report will effectively focus on the sustainability system that needs to be incorporated in the household and the policy instruments that must be incorporated depending upon the household values and constraints which are sustainable for addressing the environmental issues relating to the household systems.
This also clarifies the role of the household and the behavior of the household systems in achieving the environmental policy objectives. This also focuses on analyzing the constants that the household faces while performing the environmental activities and the way the aspects are performed in the terms of organizing and integrating the particular activities in daily life along with the constants given the environmental attitude and values. The report also considered the environmental aspects and the impacts on the households' daily energy consumption along with the methyl or methodological use of soft tools and aspects which are relevant in terms of the environmental sustainability programs.
The report also contemplates the comparison of the current renewable energy sources and the production scenarios that are more relevant in the chosen state of Australia. The chosen state of Australia in our particular study will be the South Australian state where the relevant perspectives of the behavior and the strategy will be developed in order to reduce the fossil fuels in the selected state. Regulatory, financial, and social aspects were addressed by the use of soft tools in order to strategize the relevant aspect for reducing the use of fossil fuels. The report contemplates the aspects of greenwashing and has reported the energy efficiency for the household system by effectively quantifying the energy consumption and identifying the relevant information regarding the possible also native and opportunities for the reduction of the energy consumption. Subsequent cost-benefit analysis has been provided to conclude the aspects of energy efficiency.
Literature Summary
Australia Energy Update
According to the energy report of 2021 for Australia, it has been indicated that the energy consumption in Australia reduced significantly in 2019-20 due to the spread of the pandemic. It is more relevant in terms of the transport sector because energy usage was significantly reduced because of the series of lockdowns and restriction of movement that was prevalent during the pandemic. However, energy efficiency had a considerable increase with the increase in the production of renewable sources of energy like wind energy and solar energy. It is also effective to mention that the use of renewable sources of energy continued to grow strongly. However, it is obvious that 24% of the electricity has been generated from renewable sources of energy and Solar Energy contributes to the growth of around 42% since 2019.
In terms of energy consumption, it is likely to mention that the Australian economy contracted by almost 0.3% in 2019-20 and the consumption of energy fell by 2.9 %. Even though transport was the largest user of energy despite the reduced activity which constituted almost 27% of the energy use. This was also reflected in the commercial sector where the energy uses also fail due to the impact of the pandemic. The impact was also present in the agricultural sector and the manufacturing sector as well. The mining energy increased with the growth of the export of LNG and iron ore. The residential energy use with working people from home and staying at home also increased significantly (Ahmad et al., 2019). However, oil consumption sales increased by 17%, and the share of natural gas as the primary source of energy mix increased by 27% (Wu et al., 2019).
In terms of the production of energy, it is relevant that 2% of the produced energy increased as a result of the increase in the production of natural gas and oil. Natural gas production grew by 8% which was reflected by the increased production of oil and natural gas (Sharma et al., 2020). The crude oil production also expanded by 18% and the LPG production also grew effectively.
In terms of electricity generation, it is relevant that the total electricity generation in Australia has increased effectively from the renewable source of generation. Solar PV became a large-scale production of electricity and it is the fastest growing generation type in 2019 and 2020.
Situation in South Australia
As per the report, clearly South Australia is the Vanguard of Worldwide energy that has changed its energy framework from one individual to more than 60% sustainable power in only 15 years. The pertinent parts of energy use and energy creation have been a critical viewpoint which records that by 2025-26 the Australian energy market administrator is determining an ascent to roughly 85% in South Australia. South Australia tries to accomplish 100 percent of its sustainable power by 2030. In 2021 South Australia accomplish the functional interest from sustainable assets for 180 days which is 49 % of the all-out energy utilization. South Australia has the best environment for Sun powered with three enormous scope sun-based firms which is one of the greatest per capita degrees of housetop sun oriented introduced. Sun based PV created over 20% of South Australia's power in 2020-21 (Kumar et al., 2020). as far as wind energy, the state has 22 breeze ranches in activity which will produce more than 40% of South Australia's power utilization in 2020-21 which is the most elevated rate share in Australia.
The energy allocation has taken up the aspect of residential batteries in Australia that has 4 Grade scale batteries and has been into expansion since 2019. South Australia is also categorized in terms of geographic and technological concepts as it has the wind farm land Infrastructure in order to become a world-class producer and user exporter of hydrogen. the state has also facilitated investments in hydrogen infrastructure and established a world-class regulatory framework (Kumar et al., 2020)....
