Task 1: Setting the scene For this task, you will be required to refer to the case study located in Appendix 1 – Assessment case study. To complete this task, you will be required to answer questions to demonstrate your ability to apply skills and strategies to enhance and develop teamwork and team cohesion. 1. Provide an overview of the organisation for Plan2go. Your response should be approximately 20 – 50 words. The organisation ‘Plan2go’ has two distinct services on offer; customer contact and account management. These services delve into individualised travel needs of companies and their people and tailored solutions for individual requirements. Not to mention, exceptional service to enhance maximum return on business travel and event investment. meet the highly individualised travel needs of companies and their people through a blend of tec 2. Recommend three strategies you would adopt to consult with the team to establish a common understanding of team purpose, roles, responsibilities and accountabilities. Your response should be approximately 50 – 100 words. Strategies I would adopt to consult with the team include: 1. Team meetings/presentations 2. Send a follow up email summarising discussion points and important information/dates 3. Print out information which denotes the business strategy, team purpose, roles, responsibilities and accountabilities. After each employee has read and understood it, they sign it to acknowledge. 3. As the leader of your team, explain how you act as a role model and how your actions enhance the organisations' image for all stakeholders. Your response should be approximately 50 – 100 words. It is vital that a team leader emulates the statement ‘lead by example’. As such, I would do this by ensuring standards are maintained at a high level with not just performance and respect but also dress and bearing. I would promote accountability by delegating responsibility to those under myself and following up with them, keeping track of how they’re coping and if they’re taking iniative. Weekly team meetings would be held to discuss how we, as a team are tracking towards achieving the business strategy and set goals. In this discussion, the floor will be open to further development, ideas and any concerns held. 4. Recommend what behaviours you will role model to facilitate inclusion and cohesion in the team. Your response should be approximately 50 – 100 words. Patrick Lencioni identified five behaviours of a cohesive team model (Disc Profile, 2018). The five behviours identified by Lencioni optimises performance in a team that operates s efficiently and effectively as possible. The features of a cohesive team include trust, conflict, commitment, accountability and results. In tandem with these characteristics, I would emulate honesty, respect, and effective communication to include keep everyone up to date, enabling a sense of inclusion and teamwork. 5. Review three Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to your team and evaluate how the results will be communicated to: · The team · Upper management or other stakeholders · A Key Performance Indicator is a measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a company is achieving key business objectives. Organizations use KPIs at multiple levels to evaluate their success at reaching targets. High-level KPIs may focus on the overall performance of the business, while low-level KPIs may focus on processes in departments such as sales, marketing, HR, support and others. Table 2 Key performance indicators KPI Communication methods 1 Customer Satisfaction To communicate results to the team and upper management, I would implement two method: firstly, I would set two separate meetings: One with the team to discuss customer satisfaction in service and performance. The second meeting will be with management and stake holders to discuss the benefits of customer satisfaction, what is working for the company and how can they maintain, if not increase the customer satisfaction. The second method would be followed up with an email to management and stakeholders, highlighting key points. 2 Growth in Revenue Communicating a ‘growth in revenue’ to the team could simply be a team discussion about how they’re tracking to meet the business mission and where the company will be if the growth in revenue is maintained. However, graphs and statistics of past data in comparison to current data should be included when meeting with management and stakeholders. 3 Income Sources: Analyse and determine profitable customers and segments. Data and statistics would be communicated to management and stakeholders at a meeting in a presentation, accompanied by brochures of comparison data and if kept on a constant rate, where will this lead the company. As for the team, key contributors could be discussed

Introduction
Managing a business team i
s directly related to managing the profit and operations of a company. To be appointed to the position of a team leader is a reason for joy but still it is not a matter of joke. Each team leader of a business team must be responsible to manage his or her team in the proper way. The coordination with the team members is a major factor in this case. Planning for a targeted business goal is the main objective. However, to execute the planned scheme is the major propaganda (Bruža et al., 2020). The directives of the superiors lead to enforce giving proper directions to the team fellows.
Task 2: Developments of a team performance plan
Roles and responsibilities
A business team has the biggest plan to execute. It consists of thirteen direct reports, six account managers and seven crew engaged in customer contact. It is efficient in this role. Emily Burr, the team leader, runs the meetings with the fellow people of her team. She coordinates the customer contact crew and has efficiency in this role. Emily also looks after the productivity of the crew members of her team. The account managers have to report directly to the team leader. The consecutive business teams are in the frontline as they deal directly with the Plan2go clients(Dahiya et al., 2020). The dealings with the clients are done at the first point of contact and beyond that terms and conditions.
Corporate alignment
The customer experience team is liable for executing the core of Plan2go program. This is a service-based organization. That is why this team is crucial to success. It is also crucial to longevity of the business. As per the outlining in plan of strategies, the business team support several corporate goals. These are governed by the therein of KPI. Additionally, an opportunity is present there for the development of business goals (Grube et al., 2020). It is also usable to develop KPIs at development level. It is also partially influenced by the captain in charge of the certain business team. In the said team Allen Foster serves the role of the captain in charge. He was keen for the execution of the business plans as soon as possible.
Existing team culture
The business team is lacking in cohesive modes because of the two distinct services offered by the enterprise. There are two major roles of business teamwork. One of them is to contact the customer. Another important job is to manage the accounts. In the event of dealing both services simultaneously with the clients, an “us” and “them” strategy is used as the mindset of the business. This mentality has developed by means of that the team is not in the working stage to work together. It offers the best experience which is possible for the customers. Since, the Plan2go strategy has grown the workload as well as expectations in terms of the productivity that has incremented (Smith, 2018). Also some of the team members and crews are unable to copy very well. This means that the members of the other teams have become disgruntled and there is a general feeling disenchantment in the department of managing directories.
Strategic Plan
Goals and Objectives
The goals include the development of the client portfolio by 10% in the recent years. Additional client retention is also advised to increase vision by 80%.
These objectives must be carried out to reach the stipulatedgoals. These objectives include the timeline (Smyth &Vanclay, 2017). The targeting performances are the second one. One of the most important objectives is the Key Performance Indicators or KPIs. Communication with the stakeholders is an important one. Another is the feedback strategies. Monitoring is very important for the observation of business development. The review strategies are also very important for the formulation of business plans within a certain timeline.
The objectives are:
· To develop an effective infrastructure for communication to meet the customer company retention outcomes
· To develop a medium of Supply Chain Management and its monitoring to ensure the client satisfaction rates
· To develop and implement mentoring sessions with incentive packages to ensure the improved levels of customer retention
· To evaluate the existing infrastructure of management and improve the skills of the staffs through advanced training sessions
Timeline
Timeline is referred to as the history of a business strategy of a company. It gives a lot of lessons to perform betterment and set progressive future goals of the business (Perechuda, 2020). These performances are carried out by the historical approaches that lie in the history of the business.

Performance Targets
The team is the key feature to indicate the performance of the business. The team includes a business strategy with proper plans, a team leader, account managers, customer coordinator executives and team members. The internal cooperation and communication plays a pivotal role in team performance. This is the most important indicator for the performance of the team, because with proper team performance, the business can never be developed at all (Canopy and UNEP Finance Initiative, 2020). The team leader has to report on the activities of the team members during certain intervals. These reports are strictly to be based on the quantity produced by the team and the quality of services and production provided by the team members. The interaction between the team leader and the upper management leads to the ultimate development of the business and team performance.

To develop the performance of a team as a team leader it is essential to set the key factors that may help improve the performance of the entire team within plan2go. These key factors have the sole control to influence the business strategies and strategic plans. A key factor or Key Performance Indicator is a sort of value which is measurable. That value demonstrates the effective way in which the company is achieving the key business objectives (Zellweger, 2017).
Communication with stakeholders
The stakeholders also play very important roles in the development of the business. The stakeholders serve the purpose of external resources. The way in which the business will reach at close contact to the customers is decided and performed by the stakeholders.
