Task Requirements


Students are required to provide the issues relevant to the staging (implementation) of the event that you had selected previously (in assessment 1 & 2) can be properly handled if there are proper planning and implementation during the event. Students have to address on better monitoring workplace relations to support overall organisational goals-



1. Choose and analyzeONEpotential issue in the event operations management, which is relevant to the staging (implementation) of the event. Next is to strategies a plan to overcome that issue through the following process. Choose the issue from the issues identified with the Risk Assessment plan fromassessment 2and discuss the issue and its potential consequences and how you can mitigate the issue through proactive planning and organisation - 400 words


2. Based on the above issue how can you monitor and improve workplace relations to support overall organisational goals. This will include planning and organising event. Templates include - (1) organisation chart (2) event planning checklist for staff (3) Staff roles and responsibility -400 words (templates must be provided in the annexure and discussions in the body of the report)


3.Consider how the closing sequence of an event should be planned and undertaken (event evaluation report)-400 words


All the tables and charts MUST be only in the appendix section. You MUST have a summary of your Appendix documents in the body of the report.



The report should include the following:





  • A Title Page with your name and student numbers, the subject code and title, the name of the lecturer/tutor, and the title of the assessment;

  • An Executive Summary which includes the main findings and recommendations of the report;

  • A Table of Contents with section numbers, section titles/headings (see below for guidance) and page numbers;

  • An Introduction that provides an overview of the theme of the report and its contents -150 words

  • The Main Body of the report - 1200 words

  • A Conclusion, which summarizes the main findings of the report -150 words

  • A Reference List and in-text referencing in APA Referencing Style with a minimum of ten (10), i.e. academic journal articles, texts (e.g. the prescribed texts), government sources and relevant media sources (e.g. newspaper articles, trade publications), relevant websites to support your discussions.

  • Appendices ((1) organisation chart (2) event planning checklist for staff (3) Staff roles and responsibility, pictures/tables/charts etc.) -Check sample templates

iv. Investing in right technology, promotion activities, resources and sorting all the costs so that individual can make better decisions
v. Make a rough budget with approximated figures and make event budget template.
vi. Have some fund in case of emergency.
