This is achieved through product design, destination appeal, and excellent customer service. The journey from the inception of an idea through to the successful implementation of a strategy can be long and arduous. It requires the entrepreneur to commit to in-depth research to understand the tourism industry, the tourism market segments and the experience being provided to the tourist. This enables the tourism entrepreneur to be well informed when working with the range of stakeholders that may be integral to the success of the tourism business/destination. This assessment has been developed to allow you to critically analyse a case study using theory learnt in Module 1 and Module 2. From your chosen example, it is important that you consider the challenges an entrepreneur may face, the importance of stakeholders in a business idea, and how that business idea improved an attraction or destination’s tourism appeal. Instructions: You must select one (1) of the following attraction/destination development case studies from the list below for your assessment.
