Part I:Essay Questions, pick 3 of the following questions(one full single-spaced page each), the response must make and support a clear argument. Your responses must be detailed and cite the text when appropriate. Specific examples and explanations are required. What responsibilities of media writing professionals does writing fake news violate? Sharing fake news? What can honest news producers due to counteract accusations of fake news?


Part II:Applied learning. Pick one (length determined by prompt).1. Review the six different types of short-form problem-solution copywriting found on pages 323-324. Imagine you are writing to recruit members for a community volunteer group or church to which you belong. Write three tweets following each of the six formulas (so, 18 total) that might convince potential members to attend an informational meeting for the group.2. Locate a piece of writing (if longer than one page, you may excerpt 3 paragraphs) that is written in an overly complicated fashion, using long sentences, excessive punctuation, or big words. Rewrite the piece using the principles of electronic news writing you’ve learned so far, with the goal of making the piece easier for the reader to understand. Include both the original and the rewrite, as well as a one paragraph explanation of the differences.
