Assess Lab BISY3004 E-Commerce and E-Business Application Semester 1 Block 2 2022 AIH NSW Assessable Laboratory ** PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THIS LAB THOROUGHLY BEFORE STARTING THE TASK AND DURING THE TASK. ** Value: 6% of final mark Mode of work: Individual Submission instructions Submitting the assessment in a word document involves: 1. specifying student name and student ID in the Assessable Lab quiz, and 2. providing your website’s URL at the relevant question in the Assessable Lab quiz 3. fully sharing your site with the Lecturer, giving him Admin (Co-Owner) access. Assessment Overview You will set up a food selling online for a virtual Nepali restaurant. The site sells varieties of Nepali dishes and food catering. The virtual restaurant delivers food to own customer as per request. There is no restriction on the types of meals in your site, except that no image should be of a single ingredient (e.g., an image of milk would not be acceptable since milk is not a meal) and should be an image of a final meal or dish that you would consume at a restaurant or cafe. You will use your Wix account to set up and develop your business website. The student who uses their account to set up the site can easily provide the other student with the Admin (Co-Owner) role (as explained in sharing the site with the Lecturer) so that lecturer can mark your website Description You will set up a Portfolio business website. You will need to work out a business as if it is in the real world and develop a Portfolio site for that business. Invent contents for your site and make them like you would in a real business site. There will be a minimum of three pages in your sell site. All pages must be developed as pages consistent. There will be a home page, Food categories pages, such as Dishes, catering, Juice, Hot drink, Cold drink…etc. There should another page that displays more details and information about the chosen dish or the item, such as prices, ingredients, order details (quantity and prices). Also, the page should show rating out of 5, and other consumers’ comments and reviews. Another page should show the contact us page, that describes a form of first name, last name, email, mobile number and comments. There should a phone number in this page. The page of photographs of meals will show various meals as if you have photographed them yourself like a real-life photographer. Make sure that proper meals BISY3004 E-Commerce and E-Business Application Assessable Lab Page 2 of 2 are shown in this site to convey realistically a Portfolio site of photographed meals. Any images that show what could not be considered meals or dishes by the everyday person will not be awarded marks. You will need to find images of meals in your page for which you have permission to use those images. Those images must be Creative Commons licensed images, which are images that will not violate copyright and are provided to users like you and me to use freely. Images that are not Creative Commons licensed images will attract a penalty (deduction) to marks. You must show nine (9) different images of meals in the page. There must be nine different images so that no image is repeated (of course, any businessperson in reality will not just repeat their work, such as images, in such a page, which a user would question why they are doing such). You will need to position the nine images appropriately within the page. Sharing the site Clearly for the Lecturer to access your site to mark it, you must provide the site’s URL with them. You will state the URL at the relevant question in the Assessable Lab quiz. Ensure the site is published. Once the site is published, you then set the access of the Lecturer to the Admin (Co-Owner) role using the steps covered in the relevant session slides. Important issues Do not copy text or other material from any other sources or places. This would be a clear case of plagiarism. Plagiarism is a form of academic dishonesty that in this case would involve theft of material, and this would result in penalisation of the student. To avoid students plagiarising material from other sites, and therefore prevent penalisation of students, all content that is used in the students’ submission must be totally their own and any writing should be in their own words. Marking scheme URL of your business site 0.5 Portfolio site correctly shared with Lecturer as Admin (Co-Owner) [Note: if you do not share the site at all, or if you share it with a role that is not Admin (Co-Owner), you receive 0 for this criterion] 0.5 Portfolio business site contents (28 marks) Home page with Web catalog 1 Categories of different foods types (Meals, Soups, Hot drinks, Juice, Alcohol….etc 1 Page of single image, which contains “check out”, and more details about the chosen item 1 Showing images in Page of images properly as 3 x 3 grid 1 Third page of site (contact us) 1 Total 6 END OF GUIDE Case study questions. 1.) 2.)
