The assignment instruction: "

The final assignment is a research paper focusing on one topic or distinct element covered in the class or directly related to the course but not covered in the lecture. You can select from the themes that we covered in the syllabus and expand upon one topic/theme that is of interest to you but making sure that your paper covers new ground beyond the course’s content or lecture notes. The key for your paper is to locate and engage additional sources and construct a cohesive set of arguments or points in the paper.Your paper should have a clearly stated thesis statement (what are you trying to substantiate with evidence and research), introduction, three to five major points that your paper revolves around and a conclusion.I am not looking for you to write me back notes from the lecture on any given topic, rather your own research to expand on one idea or theme that we covered while using sources to substantiate all your points and possible arguments. You can use any citation system but make sure that you give credit to any and all materials that you include in your paper.

  1. You should have a minimum of 5-7 external sources outside of all the course reading materials.

  2. Cover page, table of content, proper footnotes and bibliography.

  3. Page length for the writing is no less than 7 pages but no more than 12 pages.

  4. The paper due date is last day of scheduled classes."

NOTE: I attached the syllabus of the courses so that you are able to find the right topic to start with. Be sure to draw an interesting and unique topic to write on.(DOUBLE SPACE) 12-inch

Renewable resources are required for energy as fossil fuels are depleting. Fossil fuels like natural gas, oil and coal are present in finite quantities. The burning of fossil fuels for energy can result in release of greenhouse gasses that can result in climate change. It contributes to the elevated level of air pollution. It is important to invest in sustainable energy that can help in reducing the greenhouse effect.
Issue of climate change
In burning of fossil fuel, carbon dioxide is released in the large amount and it can be the cause of greenhouse effect that is harming the environment. Greenhouse gasses trap the heat in the atmosphere and it is the cause of climate change. Fuel fuels have been a huge polluter and it results in global warming. The heat of the sun gets trapped as emission of greenhouse gases increases on the earth. This can result in climate change and results in global warming (Ryu, Yoon, and Kim, 2019). Climate model includes changes in solar irradiance and the observed trend of temperature from the last century can result in the increase of greenhouse gas. The warmer temperature can be the cause of changing pattern of weather and it can easily disrupt the normal balance. It can be dangerous for human and all other life forms of the earth. It results in release of nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide that are considered as harmful for the health of human and environment while burning the fossil fuel.
Driving fossil fuel out of US economy
Mobilization is required in the United States to decarbonize its economy quickly enough to avoid the worst effects of climate change. In order to contribute to rise in the global temperature that is from 1.5° and 2° Celsius, the United States must achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 at the latest. To accomplish this, the entire US economy must be devoted to the development of clean-energy technology and infrastructure. In the rapid deployment for the existing electrification technologies that includes little carbon sequestration and capturing, this can help in elimination of 70% to 80% of US carbon emissions by 2035 (Vox.com,...
