This is a marketing report of Australia-based Woolworths group, which is basically a retail-oriented company. The report states the market situation of Woolworths group and analyses the target market, challenges of the entire business and competitive market of the organisation. However, this report is including a SWOT analysis for Woolworths group and provides a brief discussion of strength, weakness of the company. The market strategy of the organisation that they set up their target market and segmentation is also including in this report. It helps to synthesis a brief knowledge of Woolworths group's mix marketing strategy that helps the company to mitigate their organisational goals.
Situation Analysis
    The Woolworths group is a retail industry that extends its business in Australia and New Zealand. However, the company is providing food items to its customer and connects with the operation of a supermarket in Australia. They provide food, drink and other products to its customers. However, the company is also linked with the hotel and pub business that help them to expand their market. The Woolworths group is enhancing a suitable market of sale and distribution strategy that they can mitigate their business objects. The Woolworths group overcomes this competition with efficiency as the management of the company focused on the suitable strategy that they can resolve the entire business issue from their workplace and develop the right environment for their business. However, the company obtains the market capital for it by forty billion. The growth of their market is increasing and it has been found from the different resources that it grows near five per cent growth in the last twelve-month progress in the year, 2017 to 2018. However, it is less than one per cent that the organisation has achieved in the year, 2010. At the same time, it has been found that three per cent of growth has been obtaining in the organisation for the last three years (Atkinson, 2016).
