will share detailed explanation of the implementation of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) offering at the company AWC. It is usually anticipated that solution offered will enable the company to attain long-term goals to expand its operation to gauge different customers segments. Furthermore, implementation of ERP can also enable the company to streamline business activities and keep the entire service offerings up-to-date.
As an organisation, AWC have always concentrate in driving customer excellence by offering exquisites wine in the industry. AWC has also maintained very comprised turnaround time thereby reaching to the customers at much shorter span of time relative to its competitors. Vision of senior leadership at the company is to harness complete potential of ICT and different technologies to integrate systems with business. At present the current procedures and systems of the company doesn’t include one unified communication and information systems which can be one-stop solution for the business stakeholders. For instance, as of now company can't gather all the information of let’s say inventory which results in tremendous discrepancies.
Essentially, this business proposal is developed after performing extensive analysis on the ERP systems in the company, AWC. I propose that SAP HANA would be best aligned with the current requirement of the company. This software can minimise the operational expenses and redundancy prevailing in the business operations. Furthermore, this proposal also aims to offer detailed information about the AWC's current state of systems, required functional areas that calls for re-engineering, extended implementation of ERP system.
Background
AWC, Auburn Wine Company is headquartered in Adelaide, Australia. This is the largest plant to produce the glass bottles and a warehouse for wine storage in the Port Adelaide. It is also a branch in Sydney. Furthermore, the business has also added restaurant, three wineries in south Australia. Majority of revenue for the business is derived from the Wineries. Therefore, greatest business strategy of AWC in the coming four to five years is to focus on expansion such that company can reach out to vast customer base and incorporate new sales. This can boost the overall revenue of the business and has the potential to double the revenue.
