The first assignment for this course is your Product Brief. To do this, come up with an app idea
(based on one of your frustrations). Imagine you're creating a PowerPoint (or Prezi-like) document to tell everyone about your app idea that you and your group are going to come up with. As you create your product brief (also called startup deck), keep in your mind as if an investor who's going to be investing in your company will be looking at it.
Use
Google Slides
to create the PowerPoint. When you're submitting the assignment, submit the Google Slides with commenting or editing privileges.

Food delivery (like Uber or Yelp) app
Class scheduling app
Parking app
To-do list apps
Make sure your app ideas don't fit in any of those categories.
Here's the outline:
• Introduction
• Product name
• Product Description
• What problem does it solve?
• How does it solve that problem?
• Any Competitors? (List)
• Why is it unique?
• Who are the potential customers? (create personas)
• Who are the potential users? (create personas)
• What does it cost/How will you make money?
• Platforms (Web app, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, etc.)
• Founding team (2 – 3 sentence short bio with photos)
• Contact Information
Sample User Personas - Profile
Name, Age, Occupation, School, Hobbies, Habits, Background.
Add more to this based on your product. Maybe it’s a girl’s only product in which case, you might need Gender as part of your characteristics.
