The negative aspect of this law is it will give rise to the cost factor in the hospitals. The nusrse to patient ratio will narrow down the selection and will leave limited room for staffing decisions. It will impose a challenge on funding part as more nursing programs need to be supported and the compensation scheme require re-work to attract enough employees for the newly created positions (Law, Stevens, Hohmann and Walkey, 2018). These laws will impose higher waiting time for patients to get treatments. The reason is if the number od patients are not there as per law then nurses would not be allowed to look after the lesser number of patients. This situation can give rise to havoc in medical sector as like pandemic emergency circumstances do not arises in regular. Therefore hospitals wil refrain themselves in making any sort of changes in their staffing plans. Such laws can be a case of success in California but all other states might not be able to get success...
