1. Presence or absence is the best suitable method of sampling for determining whether or not the particular species occur in a particular area or not. Generally, the sampling method state above is applied on a qualitative basis because the area in which search is to be made and the efforts required for the same are not specifically known to the responsible persons. The best part of the same is that no special skills are required and the process of controlling requires very little investment of time.
In the food market of South Korea, the presence of wild gathered food plants were being noticed the in the year of 1989 and 1995.approximately the presence of 112 species were noticed which belonged to the 83 genera and families of 40 were located. The most common and widely available plants found were green leafy vegetables, roots of the food plants, shoots, herbs, fruits, flower food, etc. Approximately half of these plant species were being characterized into three broad families namely:
