Introduction
    Creating more order is one of the core components of the Christian worldview. It is the procedure through which, the design of God and the creation of the universe—it includes every part of the universe—is interlinked. In fact, in the process of creating the world, there is an undercurrent of the moral order which is more like the seed ingrained in the world that humans, the top creators and the most loved ones of the God, should adhere to. Medically supported suicide which is known as euthanasia is one of the conflicting concepts which challenge the Christian morality; some scholars believe that suicidal attempt when there is no hope of living is relevant while some other find it against the will of God. The following is the analysis of the George’s condition that has been diagnosed with degenerative disease ALS and there is no hope of his survival in the coming future.
Falseness of the World and George’s Perception
    At first, it is significant to note here that the creation of the falseness of the physical world in which, George has lived his life is justified. He has lived his life to the fullest by having a family and a successful carrier. It is implied by the case study that he has not developed any bad habit that might have negative impact on his body. In spite of following a sane life so far, the development of the degenerative ALS is more like a bolt from the blue, a shock from which, he is not going to recover easily. His perceptions about the world on ethical grounds must have been shattered to pieces because he has a family to take care of and there are hardly four to five years at max in his hand to live. In such a crucial and transitional phase of life, his thinking to opt for euthanasia has a strong rationale.
    However, in Genesis 1:26, it is mentioned that God perceived human beings as his own “image” which implies that the human beings are supposed to pursue the highest moral order in their living. Ending the life due to the pain or suffering cannot be reckoned as a part of this thinking. It gives the impression—the statement of Old Testament which is foundational—that human beings are not subjected to self explain what is destined to them and medicinal suicide is one of such options that they are not supposed to opt for. Knowing the fact that the world in which human beings are living is false, the creation of the image of disappointment is simply irrational.
Suffering and Christian Narrative
    As per the interpretation of the moral order, the suffering of human beings is subjected to the resurrection and spiritual uplifting. Human beings, though they are given the symbolic recognition as God’s image, yet they have to earn that place by remaining ethically upright. As per George’s thinking, the process of resurrection is the guiding light for his spiritual advancement; it can enhance his opinions about the value of life and it can give him the hope to live a life that is worthy. There are five years left with him that he can live at max but at the same time, during this period, he can make sure that the he serves the humanity and takes pleasure of the social services. Thus, he can give worth to the everyday that he lives.
