The purpose of this assignment is to assess your ability to apply and communicate risk management principles to improve the health and safety of people undertaking a job. You will be provided with a Job Safety Analysis template on the unit website that you are to complete and submit. Your task is to select an observable job that can be completed within six (6) to eight (8) steps. Based on your chosen job, you are required to conduct a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) that includes the following:

Metal fabricators are the employees in the organization who create the parts and components that are prepared out of metal. In some organization, the metal fabrication is conducted through natural gas and in some ot
her type of the organization uses electricity (JobHero, 2018). But the emission of harmful rays from the fabrication process does not affect the only employee's health but also create safety issues.
Description of the context in which the job takes place
The occupation of Metal fabricator includes jobs that may take place in a very complex environment. This environment generally differs from the environment provided by the organization to other employees in the organization. For capturing such differences, the concept of work context may be effective because it may facilitate the organization to use the seminars on fabrication, in-door training on metal fabrication etc. through the help of the work context, they may know easily that which type of the skills and competencies need to be implemented within their organization to achieve the organizational objectives.
Description of the worker(s)
The metal fabrication job within the organization is generally performed by non-skilled and skilled employees. Non-skilled employees perform the non-technical works such as cutting, welding etc and skilled employees generally gives the shape to the metal after cutting to finish the job requirements. The non-skilled employees’ do not give the responsibility of the job work but the skilled employees are responsible to perform the job as the complex instructions. These employees are work both as a team member and independently. the metal fabricator is generally reliable and conscientious employees (JobHero, 2018). The job of metal fabricator includes various steps. To present the breakdown structure, the entire steps can be divided into two parts that are explained below:
Steps Involved in Metal Fabrications
Blueprint preparation: Blueprint of the job work is generated by the capable engineer. The metal product fabrication is specified by the blueprints. It facilitates the fabricator to understand the scope of the metal fabrication process.
Finalizing Drawings
After the finalization of each detail, final drawing for job work will be prepared. This step includes the in-depth analysis and calculations by fabricator and engineer.
Metal Sheet Cutting
Metal fabricator uses rolled metal sheets to cut as per the design through cutting tools provided by the organization. Generally, the shearing method is used in metal cutting that also causes adverse impacts on the health of employees.
Bending and Forming
