The purpose of this assignment is to evaluate the factors that influence ethical decision-making, and to explain why ethical decision-making in health care is important.

Health care professionals are faced with a wide range of contemporary ethical dilemmas. Examination of how one can deliver ethical, professional care, regardless of personal beliefs and values, can ensure professional ethics, standards, and policies are upheld.

Review the "Statement on the Integration of Faith and Work," located in the topic Resources. Consider the tenets of the Christian worldview and think about how your personal values and beliefs relate. Consider situations where the standards and policies for ethical care might conflict with your personal values and beliefs.

In a 750- to 1,000-word personal narrative, describe how you can apply the tenets of the Christian worldview perspective to make ethical health care decisions, regardless of your personal values and beliefs, by using real world examples and addressing the following:

  • Explain an event or experience that caused you to examine the values, norms, and socially constructed rules of conduct that influence morality.

  • Explain the impact that differing cultures, traditions, and personal experiences have had in shaping your worldview. Include discussion of how your worldview encompasses the tenets of the Christian worldview perspective related to human value, dignity, and ethical decision-making as a health care professional.

  • Describe how you distinguish between moral conflict and ethical dilemmas, and include specific examples.

  • Discuss the value of integrity, accountability, and ethical behavior in health care, and explain how these influence your view, ideas, and choices.

While APA style format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and in-text citations and references should be presented using documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

CHRISTIAN ETHICS 1
Introduction
The Christian religion believes in th
e value, wisdom, and philosophy of Lord Jesus and his ideological beliefs in life. An event that is worth discussing includes the writings present in the Holy book “Bible” about morality which should be present in the life of people believing in the Catholic religion. God preaches us to embrace life with love, dignity and empathy for others with a caring moral attitude towards other people. Bible teaches us to be responsible citizens with the following of the duty and moral obligations in life.
Theory
Bible says that instead of committing oneself to sinful and wrong acts in life, one should commit oneself to the dedication and service to God as mentioned in the version of Romans (6:1–2, 4). Instead of committing oneself to wrongdoings and acts one should commit convert to baptism and follow the rules of the Christianity religion (Sherwood, 2018).
One experience worth experiencing is that of being hit and scolded by parents for committing wrong acts and indulging in fighting with other people. Such acts of argument and fighting should be avoided and the basic tenets and principles of morality should be followed in life. Being a healthcare professional one should know and be aware of the obligations, duties and knowledge necessary while taking care of people who are ill. Every duty should be followed with the right intention without any bias or hatred feeling to serve humanity in the right way. The right virtues, ethics, and moral principles should be followed while taking care of people who are sick (Sherwood, 2018). Every action, deed, and behavior depends upon the God’s willingness and the right path should be chosen while taking the decisions in life.
