The suppliers can save the draft of their advertisement and continue to edit it later. After they submit the product, the advertisement will be sent to a website administrator to review and make necessary changes. A website administrator will then approve the advertisement, which will be visible to the public.

The supplier may choose to edit an approved advertisement. However, editing an advertisement will make it hidden from the public until it is submitted to and approved by the website administrator. The supplier may also choose to delete an approved advertisement. Once an advertisement is deleted, it will no longer be visible to the public.

Consumers may view the list of products available. They may also search for products in a particular category, within a range of price, and a particular suburb to fetch the product. They also have the option to order the search results by rent or by the date of the advertisement.

Consumers may make enquires about a particular product, and their enquiry is visible by the public. The website administer will receive a notification email regarding the enquiry. They may log in and reply to the enquires. Their replies will also be visible by the public.

Both suppliers and consumers should be able to register an account with their email address. The website also provide authentication through open ID, that is, suppliers and consumers may register and log into the website using their Facebook, Google or Twitter account.

The company management requires the website to generate reports, including but not limited to:

• Total number of users;

• Number of active users in a particular month; active users are defined as users who log into the website at least five times per month;

• Number of new users in a particular month;

• Total number of advertisements;

• Number of new advertisements created for a particular month;

• Any other meaningful reports you and your development team deem necessary.

The website should check the validity of input information. For example, it should reject a negative number as the price of a product.
