Corporate Social Responsibility Trends in Australia
In the global scenario, it can be seen that companies are now taking responsibilities of society while operating just rather than simply focusing on their finances. However many companies are still not have adopted yet this responsibility and still many countries are lacking back regarding this respect while practicing their responsibilities. In Australian companies according to Business Insider Australia (April 19, 2018) that only 23 percent of the companies are ready to show their social responsibility as a priority reflected in their corporate strategy (Business Insider, 2018).
This number is very low; however, the mentality is changing with respect to the corporate social responsibility. Around 86 percent of the companies are now looking forward to keep CSR as their priority (Business Insider, 2018). As the fact arises the more a company will be socially responsible the more they will be connected to the society and that will improve their reputation and sustainability in the market. This collaboration will help them to face and overcome the challenges in the future.
Further, in the reports, it has been seen that the increasingly amount of emphasis is given on the collaboration among the leaders of the Australian companies as the power of network of teams will help them to tackle effectively the challenges of human capital challenges. Thus, the above initiatives if applied properly will build a more social enterprise and create an environment to attract the right talent and the drive for loyalty, which will lead the charge and sustain the long-term growth.
