Introduction
The current assignment deals in the management obesity amongst the different groups of people, especially focusing on children, who are most affected by this condition and in the special context of Australia. In this process of obesity management, the assignment would analyse the role of the stakeholders, who are directly and indirectly involved in the process. Obesity has been chosen because it is a worldwide menace soaring high day by day.
It has become a global risk to prosperous health of our society. As per the data of Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, Australia has one of the highest rates of obesity in the world (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 2012). In order to control the spike in obesity rates, Australia follows a Public Health Association of Australia (PHAA) Policy, which helps in managing the obesity problem with its principles and guidelines.
This policy helps in addressing childhood obesity as a national concern and managing it effectively. PHAA promotes administration of finances to carry out an effective health plan nationwide (Australian National Preventative Health Agency, 2015). Involvement of stakeholders leads to the moulding of research plan and increases the applicability and relevance of the policy. Stakeholders assist in detecting gaps in the policy and control plans. The current essay analyses different stakeholders and their role in managing different forms of obesity, such as childhood obesity.

The efficacy of PHAA policy depends on involvement of representatives from various strata of the society.
Healthcare Professionals
    Healthcare professionals possess knowledge and can offer effective measures to deal with childhood obesity. They play a major role in guiding the child towards a healthy lifestyle. They have the capability to support the child and parents when the child is suffering from behavioural or psychological changes as an outcome of childhood obesity (Ganter et al., 2016). Information from healthcare professionals is always helpful in expanding prospective plans to promote awareness for obesity. The outlook of healthcare professionals would help in better implantation of interdisciplinary interference (Ganter et al., 2016).
Government
    The government acts as an important stakeholder in maintaining the policies. It establishes different recreational policies and promotes physical activities for the children to stay more active. Various initiatives can be arranged by the government to promote healthy eating and managing overweight conditions to decrease the rate of incidence of childhood obesity. Government could also enact actionable for the leadership and help in collaborating with numerous sectors.
