Box delivery business can help customers to sit at home and plan for the delivery of their goods from one place to another at low cost. Most of the people in Australia are working and their schedule is tightly packed. Also, people in their old ages find difficult to drive or walk. The main aim of the project is to build user friendly and information transparent website containing all the basic functions required for the box delivery business start-up. This cost-effective website being user friendly and simple to navigate can help elderly and well as busy people to transport their goods quickly and safely upholding information transparency for the customers. Initially, only some features will be developed such as basic functions for Shipper and Collector, viewing, editing, and storing information feature for customers and to track the delivery. Some of the features which are not very important such as online chat, address validation and many other will be delivered based on time available and quality requirement for the project. Agile methodology will be used throughout the development process so that new requirements can be added easily, and the development can finish on time with the available budget. Team members are assigned the role of project manager, quality assurance analyst, risk analyst, business analyst, tech experts and scrum master based on their abilities. Team members usually communicate using zoom, google duo and WhatsApp group to share files and to clarify doubts. In the project, careful identification of risks is done, and they are mitigated by researching and adopting various techniques. Identified risks and strategies for managing risks are documented. Cost estimation, profit and loss analysis are documented and estimated costs for software may vary depending on the requirements from the sponsor/tutor, time available and the quality requirement. Background and feasibility of the project has been carefully analysed to hit market value. For successful completion of project, quality of the project had to be checked and quality assurance register is used to document quality assurance analysis and evaluation. For stakeholder’s, stakeholder management register is used. Timescale for the project has been calculated and the project is expected to complete within 8 business weeks. Eight milestones are analysed and documented for successful completion of project. 4. BACKGROUND The use of internet and knowledge among customers has made online ordering a success. Now a days, many companies such as malls, restaurants, bakeries, online shops, etc use website for fast and easy delivery of goods as many people want to order goods at the same time from the same shop. In this way, many companies are running easily with the use of internet and online website which provides fast ordering facility. Income among the companies has also increased. In this project, we are going to build a user-friendly website for box delivery of customer goods at affordable price. The customers will also be given insurance for their goods and the customers can see where their goods are reached. The online box delivery systems website can help customers, collector, shipper and manager to reduce workload, management of time can be done easily and efficiently, keep accurate data on customer details, purchase history, customer likes and dislikes, who approved order, who was the shipper and collector, can gain customer trust etc. With the help of this website customers do not have to come in person to check for orders or keep calling to check if their shipment has arrived. The website also reduces long wait for phone line among customers to talk to customer service agent. The management can also hire less employees for business. Also, there were many ideas among our team’s members for project. We had to go through resources available, time conditions for the project to complete, budget condition of sponsor and which could get more profit for the company. Taking everything into consideration box delivery system looked more feasible as we had enough resources and could be finished on time within the budget available. 5. PROJECT CONCEPT a) Description of project: - The online ordering and returning services have been in use in many countries and customers use it so that they can relax at home after their busy schedule and take time to choose from the many options and can order whenever they want. More flexibility and more customer satisfaction can be gained by online services. Electronic payment system is also major contributor to make online ordering system a success. Customers pay by credit card, Mastercard, bpay, etc which is easy for customers. Cash on delivery option will also be provided in some online ordering system. The website which we are developing for the box delivery business start-up will also provide similar, better, and user-friendly options for payment of goods and online delivery of goods. Below is the prototype of the project. Step by step explanations are also shown for the prototype:- i) Home Page The home page for the website is shown above. From this page users can go to various pages by clicking:- Shipper Button - To go to shipper log in page Collector Button - To go to collector log in page Sign In button - To go log in page for customer Sign up button - To go to registration page for customer Booking Id - To input booking number for customers and press track my package button below to track their order ii) Page showing booking status This page shows the booking status of customer. The booking status can be ‘remaining approval’, ‘request approved’, ‘scheduled pickup’, ‘to be shipped’, ‘reached destination’, ‘delivered successfully’, ‘delivery delayed’. Home Button – Press this button and go to the home screen. iii) Login Page for customer This is the login page for registered users. Once the users are registered, they will have to login to go to their main page. Home button – Press this and go to home page Please see below pictures when email ID or password is incorrect If the email ID is incorrect or not registered, the website shows error message as ‘This email is not registered. Please register and try again!!!’. If the user has forgotten password or entered wrong password, the website shows ‘Incorrect password. Please ‘Click here’ to change password. iv) Register page for customer This is the registration page for customers. Customers can enter their details. Password must be at least 7 digits long. Register Button – Will register customer details into database Home button – Will take customer to home page and then customer can log in using log in button using their registered details v) Main page for customer This is the main page for customer. It is like the dashboard for the customer. By selecting: - Main Page – Customer will be redirected to the same main page. New booking – Customer will be directed to the new booking page. Booking History – Customers can see their booking done in the past and in the present. Update Account – Customers will be directed to the update account page to make changes to their details Log Out – Customers will be directed to the home page where they can login again vi) New booking page for customer This is the new booking page for customer. Customer can enter details and make a new booking for their goods to be shipped. Only logged in customers can do booking. By clicking on :- Get Quote – Will redirect customer to quotation page which shows price. vii) Quotation page for customer This is the quotation page for customers where customers can verify their filled details and get price for delivering. If customer is satisfied with the details and price, they can choose:- Pay Now:-Customers will be directed to payment page to make payment. If customers are not satisfied, they can choose:- Go Back – Customers will be directed to new booking page to change or make new order. viii) Booking history page for customer This is the booking history page for customers. This page will show all the bookings of logged in customers. By clicking on: - Select button – Customers will be directed to their booking details page. ix) Details of booking page for customer This is the booking page for customer.
