Leaders are an important element of every organization since they set the pace and development of the job. According to a research by John Driscoll, bad leadership results in missed objectives and can ruin a company's whole culture (Turshan, Karim & Ramallah, 2020). Poor operational performance of an organization can affect the success of it in different ways, some of them are:
· Deprived work culture – operational performance has direct impact on work culture and how people will carry out their duties. Poor operational performance means poor work culture.
· Mishandling of resources- Resource like manpower, machineries can be overused or underused if operations are not manageable.
· Lack of authority and leadership – Poor operational performs leads to reduced leadership quality which will take away authority.
· Poor sales and marketing – Above mentioned issues will with poor operational performance will drop down the sales and increase marketing cost.
· Lack of motivation- less revenue, low profit and poor management will leads reduce the motivation.
· Lack of transparency- Companies will eventually start hiding things that arise from poor operational performance from stakeholders to avoid chaos.
