Assessment 2 – IRP-B Assessment type: Brief report Weight: 30% Length: 1,000 words. Instructions In this assessment, prepare a brief report (1,000 words) on your project’s data collection and analysis aspects. Your brief report must cover the following: • The data source used including its limitations (5 marks); • The empirical approach adopted (e.g., descriptive statistics, linear regression, qualitative methods) (10 marks); • A summary of the key results (e.g., tables and charts) (10 marks); and • Potential limitations of the analysis (e.g., can the findings be generalised?) The descriptive research design is for building a critical grasp of the study issue.
As mentioned Rondoni, Asioli and Millan (2020), to check that the research is going in the right direction, both primary and secondary data will be collected and checked using online and offline collection data tools. For example, if someone wants to research Covid-19 research then there are only two ways—online or offline as it is impossible to research an offline method so the online method is best in this pandemic to do research. The questionnaire method is best to use. People can fill the questionnaire form and from this, there is a strong option for research.
The primary data that will be collected for the research process will be collected with the permission of the participant. Additionally, as mentioned by Mayberry, Hatcher and Cowley (2020), whatever the primary data will be collected by the participant will be represented as it is without making any change in it. Furthermore, the personal information of the participant will not be disclosed until and dauntless the participant will be permitted to do so.
Empirical Approach
The research that will be adopted is descriptive research that describes the whole characteristics of the population or phenomenon used. This type of research mainly focuses on what is research subject rather than to focus on the why is the research subject....
