etween the speaker and the receiver. Language is one of the key factor, on which communication depends and due to dynamic cultural diversity, numerous languages are prevalent on this earth. Yanaprasart, P. (2016). Managing Language Diversity in the Workplace: Between ‘One Language Fits All' and ‘Multilingual Model in Action'. Universal Journal of Management, 4(3), 91-107.
Yanaprasart (2016) has presented a very wide analysis of the languages used at the professional level in multinational companies. This study is based on the concept that due to increasing overseas development of Multinational Corporations (MNCs), international staff is being hired by them and as a result, language becomes a barrier. This study is based on two levels ‘macro’, ‘meso’ and ‘micro’. Companies with different linguistic languages in Switzerland have been compared at ‘macro’ level, while emphasis is given on dynamic discourses with in a single company.

Moreover, there was a three step analysis procedure and it was found that language was not observed as a barrier in firms like banks however, big companies such as pharmaceuticals have to invest in translation segment as according to them ‘ besides money, it gives them a sense of inclusion with the native culture’. Finally they concluded that the concept of one language fits all is not for the MNCs instead multilingual model is required in a multilingual inclusiveness culture that strengthens and empowers the plurilingual speaker in the MNCs, which further helps to identify and explore innovative opportunities and helps to build a competitive advantage for companies.
