A complete google slide presentation will be prepared with voice over (Do not use PowerPoint), instructions for this are in the module. 2. You must make sure that I have access to each slide including the audio. Check it before you post it. If posted incorrectly, for whatever reason, the team will forfeit 10 points. If you keep me waiting for the information, more points will be deducted. 3. No more than 15 slides – do not make the font so small that no one can read it. Make the content less wordy. If you understand your topic, you will be able to condense it. 4. The entire presentation must be capped at 30-minutes. 5. Introduction a. This is where you and your partner will use the annotated bibliography information to clearly explain the aspects of the chapter. b. A 20-minute overview of the topic/reading/chapter(s). Verbally citing (3 or more) resources from the annotated bibliography, along with explaining the information clearly and concisely to the audience. 6. Visuals a. A sufficient variety and number of visuals that are germane to illustrate topic No more than 3 - 1-minute videos. These are not from the movies you watched. In other words, these short video clips must be researched from other areas, I like to use YouTube. This is not part of the Movie review. 7. Movie review a. You and your partner will summarize their assigned movie (less than 5 minutes each) along with discussing the aspects of the chapter by referring to the scenes in the movie. This is where you can use short video clips which can be shown to illustrate your point, 1 minute or less. No more than 2 from each assigned movie. 8. Conclusion: a. Quickly review your main points b. Wrap things up with a creative closing c. Thank the audience for listening. 9. Discussion Questions a. Formulate six open-ended-on-topic questions. b. Research Discussion questions for the assigned topic to help you understand how to write a discussion question queston. Annotated Bibliography Assignment & Rubric Annotated Bibliography SPE 202 Assignment Page This assignment is designed to help you evaluate sources of information. An annotated bibliography includes all the citation information needed to find a source and a paragraph describing the source. 1. Find a minimum of 2 sources per team member (the textbook is not counted in this assignment) on your topic – these should be your best sources so that means you will likely have reviewed at least twice this many. Keep track of how many you reviewed, and how many you discarded. I would like this information at the bottom of the assignment. 2. For the sources –Each team member must have at least 1 scholarly peer-reviewed article, for the second source, a newspaper article, a website, a book, or a peer-reviewed journal article. 3. ONLY use APA 7th ed. citation formatting and use it consistently in the assignment. Review the left-hand menu on BlackBoard for APA help. 4. Look for reliable, valid sources that discuss research and use academic language 5. As you write your annotated paragraph include a summary of the source, an assessment of the source, and a reflection of the source. All this information is in the module. Paragraphs should be in full sentences 70-200 words long. Length of the entry is often linked with the length of the source. 6. The format should list the APA 7th ed. citation, then the appropriate paragraph annotation followed by the next citation and annotation. All entries should be typed and double spaced. 7. At the end of the assignment, kindly write a sentence about the number of sources you reviewed, and the number you discarded. 8. Please only one submission for each team. I will check each citation and annotation. I recommend that you review the Video provided in the module. I assure you that every error will lessen your grade.
