Problem- In the most recent years many companies that require onsite presence, have lost solid employees to remote work positions/opportunities.


Issue - With companies losing solid employees to remote work positions/opportunities, this creates a labor shortage for industries requiring employees to be onsite.


Research - I intend to take a further look into the corporate business industry to find out why people are making the change and propose ideas on what companies can do to attract/retain onsite employees.

The hospitality industry is a labor-intensive industry and it effectively depends upon the quality of employees on-site to draw a positive effect on the business. The hospitality industry requires effective employees to ensure the best business outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction. Moreover, as is already mentioned that hospitality industry cannot do without the employees retaining the onsite employees is one of the major challenges of this particular industry when they are effective opportunities symptoms of the work from home or remote working conditions. So, with the reduced opportunities for work from home and remote working aspects, the employees in the hospitality industry are effectively shifting towards the other industry for obtaining the aspects of work conditions.
The hospital industry extensively required syllabus to work on-site and must ensure a proper retention strategy to attract and return the employees. Employee retention must be a primary focus of the hospitality business and as this particular industry is a labor-based industry replacing and training new staff with the resources must be effectively focused. The pandemic has hard hit the hospitality industry due to the aspects of being locked down and restrictions on movement. This subsequently resulted in laying off employees during the lockdown periods. In such a situation most of the employees have shifted from the hospitality industry to other information technology industries in which the employees are offered work from home in most cases. In recent studies, it has been found that employees across the different industries have left the hospitality sector and the primary reason for their living was that the industry is often not seen as a long-term career path and they do not offer the aspects of work from home facility. Hence, retaining and attracting employees in the hospitality sector is one of the major challenges.
