Summary of Need Analysis Process
The above-mentioned case study reveals that the purchasing department of the healthcare organization needs an implementation of the IT infrastructure to render better services to the customers. To implement successful performances and training, analysis needs to be carried out (Fuenzalida & Riccucci, 2019). Therefore, the HR departments need to ensure that the skilled employees are being hired and the existing employees are being provided with effective training. The need for hiring newly trained employees and providing training procedures has been assessed with the help of the Need Analysis Model.
The Need Analysis Model has five steps. Through these five steps, the needs for effective recruitment and training procedures in the healthcare organization can be analyzed.
Step 1: Identification of the Users of the Need Analysis
In this case, the users of this analysis are the existing employees and the newly hired candidates. Those employees and candidates need to act upon the change inflicted within the organization. The training courses offered by the organization needs to be adopted by the employees for effective implantation of the IT systems. The users that are the employees, should also be aware of the IT implementation in the organization. The purpose of this change needs to be clarified to the users so that they can relate to change and adopt the necessary changes within themselves.
Step 2: Description of the Target Population and Service Environment
Concerning the case study of the healthcare organization, the target population should be young customers. The target population ranges from the age of 25-45. The young aged people are extremely busy with their lives and jobs. Therefore, they always seek to avail faster and efficient services.
The implementation of the IT services would render the required effective services to the target population wearily. The service environment would be Lean Servicescape with the least human and physical interaction. Since the virtual mediums and platforms would take over the entire interactions, the least human interactions would be the perfect service environment for this organization.
