Introduction
Ashgrove cheese is the dairy farming in the Tasmania fertile Northwest since 1908 that is operating with a pasture to plate
philosophy and has stood out the taste of time. It is located in the Elizabeth town in the heart of the cropping region in Northern Tasmania. The business is a family owned business that produces premium quality and award winning milk, cheese, butter and cream. The initial Cheese factory was built in 1994 and a new factory was built in 2011 doubling the capacity of the milk processing plant and cheese packing operations. The goal of the business was to gain Independence from the low commodity prices by adding extra value to their milk.
