Collaborative relationship between the suppliers and the organization is very essential for management of the supply as well as the quality of the product. We will in this case discuss about the association between Boeing and Nordam which was used for the development of the aerospace ancillaries to be used for the edifying of Dreamliner by Boeing. Through this process Boeing was able to develop a window frame in a composite setup which could be used in the 787 Dreamliner. Hence, the relationship which happened between Boeing and Nordam helped both the organization and the suppliers to launch an innovative product in the market (Al-Abdallah, G. M., Abdallah, A. B., & Hamdan, K. B.; 2014).
One such example was the composite window which weighted less than 50% compared to the traditional windows which were manufactured and available in the market.
