Assume a minor head loss coefficient due to the valve, k of 60. The pressure drop is measured by a mercury differential manometer. (a) Determine the pressure drop due to the valve. (b) Determine the manometer reading due to the valve between points 1 and 2. (c) Determine the pressure at points 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
