Group Progress Report 3 Overview Note: You must upload your group video progress report to your Microsoft Teams Group Channel before the deadline and submit the link to that video here in Moodle before the deadline. The deadline is the same for all groups, irrespective of meeting time. See the deadline below. Your group must also submit a Word document (written component of report)  here in Moodle before the deadline. Each progress report must: · explain your technical progress since the last report (or since the start of the project) · report on the status of tasks completed since the previous progress report · list the issues and challenges that have arisen, and your approaches to addressing them · list the priority tasks for the next phase of work (up until the next progress report and/or the end of project) You will be expected to answer questions about your progress report. This progress report will be delivered verbally, however this Group Progress Report 3 also has a written component. The verbal progress reports require you to briefly talk about your progress. You will be required to pre-record the progress report as a video easily accessible by the project mentor. You will have a limited amount of time to present for each progress report. Progress reports do not need to use slides, however may show technical artefacts (e.g. network designs, code, policies). While the progress report will be pre-recorded, questions will be live. Group Progress Report 3 will have a written component which is an update to the Project Plan. That is, in addition to the verbal report, you must submit a document highlighting changes to the original Project Plan. Group Progress Reports are group work, however individuals may receive different scores based on their contributions. Different group members may deliver the different Group Progress Reports. All group members do not need to talk in the pre-recorded video in every Group Progress Report. However across all three Group Progress Reports, all group members must present at least once. For example, if there are four students in a group, student 1 may present Group Progress Report 2, students 2 and 3 may present Group Progress Report 3 and student 4 may present Group Progress Report 4. All group members must be available to answer questions on all Group Progress Reports. The written component of Group Progress Report 3 is group work. You will be marked based on: 1. Depth and quality of your technical contributions 2. Ability to plan realistic and significant tasks, and to complete planned tasks 3. Identification of challenges in the project, and practical approaches to deal with those challenges. While the progress reports are pre-recorded, an important aspect of each progress report is answering questions from the Project Mentor (tutor). Therefore, attendance at your class (or scheduled project meeting) is required for each week that a progress report is due. If you do not attend (and do not have a valid reason, for example, a medical certificate) then you will receive 0 marks for the progress report (even if you contributed to the pre-recorded verbal talk). Your Group Channel in Microsoft Teams should contain a copy of the deliverables. Your use of Teams to store/edit files and discuss the deliverables may be used to judge your individual contributions to this assessment. While your files are on Microsoft Teams, you must submit the final version for assessment here in Moodle. In case of any differences between Teams/Moodle versions, the Moodle version will be assessed. Tasks Record a video reporting on the group progress since the previous progress report, covering: 1. What tasks has your group completed since previous progress report? 2. What contributions to technical artefacts has your group made? (e.g. show/explain network designs, security controls, risk analysis, prototypes, ...) 3. What challenges has your group encountered, and how have you addressed them? 4. What tasks will each individual complete before the next progress report? Attend the weekly meeting and be prepared to answer questions. All students must attend, not just the student(s) in the video. The video should be a minimum of 4 minutes and a maximum of 5 minutes. See the Individual Progress Report 1 for further advice on the video. Name the video file: groupXX-progress3.mp4 You must also submit a report highlighting the changes to the original Project Plan. Upload the video to your Group Channel in Microsoft Teams before the deadline, and then submit the link to the video, as well as Word report, here on Moodle. COIT20265: Group Progress Report 3 - Updating Project Plan: What you need to do? For Group Progress Report 3 you need to submit an updated Project Plan. The updates should include any new, deleted or changed tasks, roles, resources etc. That is, changes to Section 1 through to Section 6 need to be highlighted and justified. You do NOT need to update Section 8 Initial Design and Prototype (you can either leave as is or delete Section 8). You should also submit an up-to-date Gantt chart. You MUST use Track Changes in Microsoft Word to highlight your changes and use comments to add justifications. Here is an example. In Word, turn Track Changes On: Now for example you need to delete a task and insert a new task: Then use Word comments to add a justification (or reason for the change): Record changes in the other sections, such as change of roles/responsibilities, change of resources, and change of risks: It is important that you Turn Track Changes on for all editing of the Word document, so your Project Mentor can quickly identify your changes. And add justifications in Comments so they know the reason for your change. The updated Project Plan and Gantt chart needs to be submitted in Group Progress Report 3, as well as a video. hi, this is a capstone project combine with 90173 order which i have ordered from TFTH team last week and this is the next submission name called "progress report 3" what is our requirement: (1.) Technical Progress
This is the third progress report in which we will discuss about the new task which I have taken and the status of the task. While working on this project it includes multipl
e technical steps. It has network design which was performed by Navin and Rizly. It includes few security aspects about which Raju and ManiKrishna studied, and they considered it for developing the solution. They studied about the additional security aspect for the cloud migration and different policies of the security which needs to be included when we are developing the cloud solution. As we move further two of the members were responsible for risk assessment. Navin and Rizly Perform risk assessment and they were able to analyze all the related risk in the cloud environment. They studied about the disaster recovery and business continuity plan. The last part was the implementation of the solution in which each one of us was included. We performed different subtasks and we were able to complete them. The whole implementation was divided among us. The following table shows the allocation of task and the subtask. It shows the detailed information about every task which was completed and how it was done by the team member.
