we ran the five concentrations of lead, we finally ran the blood sample to see exactly what the concentration of lead in the blood was by comparing it to the lead concentrations we had prepared. The average concentration of lead that we got from the atomic absorption spectrometer that was in the victim's blood was 1.43 ppm. The results of the average concentration of the lead in the blood sample was based on comparing the concentration of the blood sample to our samples of different concentrations which told us what the average concentration of lead in the blood sample was. The value we got of the average concentration of lead in the blood sample was over 1 ppm, which when the concentration of lead in the human body is 1 ppm or above, the individual would feel tingling in their arms and legs, along with having insomnia. Comparing this information to the symptoms thomas taylor was having, it can be concluded that the lead poisoning was the cause of his death The actual value of the concentration of lead in the victim's body was 2 ppm, while the experimental value of the concentration of the lead was 1.43 ppm. This shows that some errors occurred in this lab. One of the errors would be contamination. We may not have acid washed the glassware perfectly which may have left some oxidizable contaminants in the glassware
