Non-Parametric tests and Statistics used in our daily life
Introduction: The non-parametric tests are not
applied everywhere. There is a small difference between the parametric and non-parametric tests. The situation where we do not know the distribution of the variable in advance and also it is not normally distributed. In those situations, we apply non-parametric tests. Where we consider that the unknown distribution is continuous distribution.

Since, there are many non-parametric tests available as the alternative of the parametric tests.
For goodness of fit chi-square test, Kolmogorov Simonov test are best. Also, sign test, Wilcoxon signed rank test are alternative of one-sample t-test. Thus, for each parametric test there is alternative test available in non-parametric situation.
The most interesting non-parametric test to use is the chi-square test. The reason for choosing this because of its simplicity and easy to understand and applied easily on the problems.
