Conditions that affect the growth of bacteria:

rients, moisture are some of the factors which affect the growth of the bacteria (Lage et.al., 2021).
a. Increased or decrease in the temperature will halt the growth of the bacteria. Different bacteria will have optimum temperatures to grow and most of the bacteria will grow at 37 ºC. The ideal temperature for E. coli to grow is 37 ºC and it can survive 21-49 ºC temperature.
b. The optimum pH for growth of the bacteria is 7.0 besides some can grow in acidic conditions (acidophiles) and some can thrive alkaline conditions...
