The commitment of having preservative free food to be sold by a company is itself a big challenge for any business organization. It is so because food preservation is most of the times a major process of stock keeping, which helps the company to meet the growing demands of their products. However, as argued by Awuchi, Twinomuhwezi, Igwe and Amagwula (2020), preservatives are actually chemical substances, which have detrimental effects on the health of the consumer if consumed in large quantities and over a continuous span of time.
Therefore, in the present scenario of leading health-conscious lives, most of the consumers are preferring to have only preservative-free food. Therefore, fast movement of the finished products is desirous for the companies, which sell preservative free food items.
