Intrinsic factors are those which helps the individual to the do the activities helps in gaining internal rewards. While doing activities individual feels satisfaction, enjoyment and fun (Fischer, Malycha & Schafmann, 2019). In other words it can be said that psychological needs of an individual can be met from the activities for instance give more time to work, involving in personal development, reflecting leadership skills to motivate team etc.
Extrinsic factors impact the behaviour of the individuals as external rewards like incentives, recognition, hikes, vacations etc...
