For this purpose, CQuniversity is proposing a project detailed below to meet the increasing student’s numbers as well as to provide a proper university life. It has purchased a new land of 40 Acers to construct its new project with the below elements: Project Elements: CQU is looking forward to including the following elements in the new project: 1. Main lecture building (can accommodate 500 Students) 2. Computer and engineering Laboratories 3. Conference hall with up to date facilities and infrastructure (250 people) Important notes: • This should create positive image within the local community. The new campus should be prestigious one finished to high quality standards. This needs to be balanced with the project cost being kept within budget and completed as soon as possible., with all parts of the development completed t the same time • CQU directors have indicated they have extensive knowledge in education and research, however they did not have the necessary skills to manage the design and the construction of the project. Therefore CQU has appointed your consultancy firm called PPMP20011 consultant to supervise the project and manage all aspects. • Your firm (PPMP20011) is an experienced consultancy firm who provides an in-depth advice to clients on how to proceed within the project constraints. CQU main concerns (limitations) are as follow: I. Time: where this building must be ready before the new academic year II. Quality: The standard of the quality is of high level with the intention to having a prestigious project III. Cost and price certainty: CQU has a strict budget and the project cost should not overruns the project budget. Solid estimate for the project is needed taking all factors into account.
