Introduction
The present essay answers some questions about shocks, pathophysiology of burns, pathogenesis of Ebola, set up for disaster closet and risks of morbidity as well as mortality. The main difference between all the five shocks are that hypovolemic shock involves the blood and the fluid compartment, the cardiogenic involves the heart, obstruction involves the circulatory system, distributive shock involves the vascular system and the septic involves the tissue levels.
Differentiating among Different Kinds of Shocks and Explaining their Pathophysiology
Cardiogenic Shock:
It is a life-threatening condition where the human heart suddenly stop working or pumping enough oxygen-rich to the body. As an outcome of poor oxygen supply, the heart stop performing and human being suffers from heart attack. The pathophysiology in this regard involves a vicious spiral circle.
It starts with the ischemia that causes the myocardial dysfunction, which in turn, exasperates myocardial ischemia. As stated by Chioncel et al. (2020), its pathophysiology is hibernating myocardium can enhance the myocardial dysfunction and as a result it worsens the cardiogenic shock.
Hypovolemic Shock:
It is an emergency condition, where we can observe severe fluid or blood losses in a human and out of this, the heart slows down its pumping rate due to poor blood circulation. As mentioned by Taghavi and Askari (2018), it is a condition where the fluid section of the blood that is plasma is too low to cooperate with the heart to function. In term of pathophysiological aspect, Endothelium plays an important role vascular physiological, reparative process and many more.
Obstructive Shock:
It is yet another form of shock, which occurs due to physical obstruction of the great vessels or even the heart itself. Usually, pulmonary embolism and cardiac tamponade are the considered form of obstructive shock (Standl et al., 2018). This form of shock is caused by the inability to produce adequate cardiac output despite of normal intravascular volume and the myocardial function.
Distributive Shock:
It is another form of shock, in which abnormal blood flow can be observed in the smallest blood vessels. As an outcome of this, insufficient supply of blood to the body’s tissues this type of shock occurs. As stated by Smith, Lopez and Silberman (2017), in term of pathophysiology the distributive shock is the insufficient tissue perfusion that is caused by loss of the normal responses of vascular smooth muscles to vasoconstrictive agents.
Septic Shock:
It happens when the infection reaches to the bloodstream and causes inflammation to the body. In term of pathophysiology, it involves a complex response of cellular activation that usually triggers the release of the multitude of proinflammatory mediators (Font, Thyagarajan & Khanna, 2020).
Risks of Morbidity, Mortality, Preparation and Prevention Measures for One Type of Natural Disaster
Taking Flood as the natural disaster, which underlines the risk of mortality and morbidity rate to a high, extend. Flood is the overflowing of water onto the land, which is dry. It occurs out of heavy rain when the ocean waves come on the shore when the ice melts or the dams’ breaks. As stated by Venkataramanan et al. (2019), due to heavy flood human suffers from drowning, injuries, hypothermia, animal bites, diarrhea, abdominal infections and many more.
As the flood smashed and washed off the people’s house, therefore these homeless people suffer from hunger and proper water facilities, which also...
