Introduction
The manufacturing industries are among the industry, whic
h are most prone to the hazards and accidents. As in the industry hazardous and risky chemicals are processed to make several items, heavy machineries and equipment’s are used to manufacture the products. The workplace health and security management should need to be on point in consideration to avoid any kind of accidents or injury in workplace. The workers and the employees are involved in handling the chemicals which are way too much risky, they process several machineries and equipment’s which are very heavy and they work whole day in the conditions provided by the employer. The workplace health and safety measures are important to implement efficiently into these industries to avoid the most prevalent risks. The Queensland state has initiated several health and safety legislation which is mandatory for almost every organization to implement it in order to prevent any kind of workplace accidents.
Relevant health and safety legislation
The health and safety legislations formulated for the manufacturing industries in Queensland is taken into account and implemented by territories, state and the commonwealth. In Queensland all the necessary laws and legislations related to health and safety is portrayed and taken into account as per the work, health and safety regulations act. The several codes of conducts and regulatory guidelines have been regulated, formulated and developed over the years in order to maintain a balance between the workplace practice and the policy. The WHS has established the guidelines and the code of conduct across the nationwide including the Queensland state (Walters et al., 2016). The organizations all over the Queensland including the manufacturing industries practice the relevant health and safety measures considering the following regulations.

· Managing Hazards.
· Security structures.
· Anti-discrimination policies.
· Justified and fair work.
DEVELOPING THE PROGRAM
The program would be developed by formulating the program as per the needs, competency and the requirement of the manufacturing industries. All the necessary prevention and safety measures would be given priority so that the program would be effective and efficient in eradicating any kind of possible safety issues within the workplace. For the program the major consulting would be made with the trainer and then with the employer who is the authority person within the organization who would be taking the decision whether the program is suitable or not. After taking the consent with the employer the program will be implemented by having an interaction with the workers and the employees in which they would be made aware of the main points of the programs that they need to carry on within the organization.
Roles and responsibilities
The most important aspect of the program is to ensure the workplace health and safety in the manufacturing industries in the Queensland state. To formulate a safety plan which matches to the requirements of the manufacturing industry in Queensland. The responsibilities would be allocated to the individuals on the basis of their post, experience and competencies. The responsibility should be allocated after ensuring completely whether the person is capable of taking and fulfilling the given responsibility or not.
Roles and responsibilities of employers
· To ensure the safe working system at the workplace.
· They must focus on assessing the risk measures and implementing the safety measures to manage and control them.
· The employers must ensure the proper handling of goods and substances.
· The employers must tend to provide workers compensation insurance (Regan & Giles, 2017).
Roles and responsibilities of employees
· The employees must take proper care of their own health and safety.
· The employees must take a proper account to avoid any kind of injury or harm to other staffs, employees or their customers.
· The employees should be prompt in informing the employers regarding any risk and hazard felt within the workplace.
· They must cooperate with the employers when they are implementing some safety measures for them.
· They should surely refuse to work if they cannot find the workplace safety for the carrying over of work.
· They must follow all the safety measures and policies framed under WHS (Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, 2017).
HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION
Appropriate health and safety information will be provided to the employer and the stakeholders through the records and the reports that are prepared after analysing the workplace health and safety condition within the manufacturing industry. The employers should be made aware of the information with proper evidence. The information should be provided to the employees through the interactive sessions or through the seminars in which they would be made aware of all the findings procured related to the workplace health and safety.
