Dot collector allows to make decisions not based on democracy but based on the algorithm that take peoples thoughts in real time and helps them collectively reach and idea meritocratic decision. This can be quite against the privacy issues because in some instance it might occur that the person does not want to show what he or she is feeling. In this aspect this system can be against the privacy prospect of the individuals.
