(500 words per student in a group) Assessment – 2 Part 2 – Presentation 10% In small groups of two, students are to present an oral and visual presentation of their project report (approximately 4-5 minutes per student) This assessment revolves around one topic from week 1 to week 5 which can be linked to any real-world project. You are required to write an analytical report to demonstrate how the role of leadership has contributed to the success/failure of this project. Selected real world project - Microsoft Leader - Bill Gates · The report should be focused on the scoping and shaping phase of the project. This task is designed to develop a set of academic and analytical skills relating to business report writing, including searching for, reading and critically analysing academic literature and other sources, developing an analytical response to a particular current challenge. 10 references Harward reference style 1000 words business report , 10 slides presentation Marking criteria Criteria Well developed Project background (3 Marks) Provides an excellent project background & presents relevant information about the case study Provide some information about the project background & presents relevant information about the case study Presents relevant summary from relevant sources representing various points of view/approaches. Analysis (8 Marks) A demonstrated understanding of the reasons for the project’s success or failure. Logical, insightful, original discussion with well- connected paragraphs. Evidence of full engagement with the literature found, with relevant and detailed analysis. Report adequately discusses the reasons for the project’s success or failure. Creativity & Innovation (2 Marks) Includes a variety of graphics, text, and animation that exhibits a sense of wholeness. Design is reasonably engaging and creative. It has some graphic works Occasionally uses graphics/no graphics that rarely support text and presentation Writing style & referencing (2 Marks) Information is well organized. With a strong professional layout, includes Executive Summary, Table of Contents, Headers / Footers, Appendices, Information is organized in a correct lay out. .
