Knowledge management is one of the important factors in an organisation as that will help in properly gathering the information’s and the utilisation of
the information in proper functioning of the organisation, which will be manufacturing of products and delivery of services. The project report is about the Unilever’s knowledge management system that is adopted for their functioning and the models discussed that will aid in further development and keeping the organisation ready to handle threats. This project report will deeply analyse the different aspects to identify the needs and gathering of the information for further proper production to meet the needs of the people.

Unilever is a multinational company, which is one of the largest consumer goods companies, based on 100 countries with around 250,000 employed in their organisation. Objective of the company is to transfer their knowledge of innovation and quality into the products and services to gain an advantage over the other competitive brands in the market (Jashapara, 2011). The company is targeted to achieve the fulfilment of the needs of the people and thus they try to understand the needs of the local people and people around the globe and through their knowledge to produce and deliver the products and services to the customers. The management is targeting to transfer their knowledge and skills to the employees at all level as to manufacture the product based on the standards set and to understand the needs of the customers and provide better advice to the customers to support them.
Unilever’s knowledge management is to develop several practices helpful for the community. The community will bring key experts and practitioners from around the world as they will try to understand what people know and do not know about the area they stay and based on that data they will collect the data, which will help to understand what are the needs that currently the people are facing and the future needs anticipation that will be needed in the future. If the future needs will be known then based on that knowledge proper products and services will be produced and delivered to the customers to satisfy and fulfil their needs (Gunjal, 2019).

The integrated activities of a company are focus regarding the contribution towards achieving the strategic goals through the creation, sharing, acquisition, capturing and transfer of knowledge.
