You are testingtheperformance of the hompage and another url from an overseascentral bank with a different number of requests and through different pages, running all of the thread groups one on JMeter Test Plan (one JMX file).

In addition to the information provided underAssessment Notes,

  • There should be 6 thread groups (3 for each website)

    • NOTE: With appropriate labelling of the HTTP Request, a 3 thread group alternative is also acceptable - see linked example below

  • The thread groups and HTTP requests should be labelled appropriately so it is clear how they each are different, so you will see meaningful labels in the aggregate results table.

  • Set continue for all thread groups, if there is an error.

  • Add aresponse assertionof your choice for each page (

    a link [https://www.guru99.com/assertions-in-jmeter.html]

    Links to an external site.

to further info about different types of assertions with a response assertion example). It can just be a simple response code 200 for test pass.

  • Add Table Result, Tree Result, Graph Result, and Aggregate Report for each test

  • Analyse your results based on the Aggregate Result, and write a maximum of one page based on that as well. You can readthis article[http://www.testingjournals.com/understand-aggregate-report-jmeter/] to understand your result.

Details of your analysis report are as follows:

  • Based on the tasks you have completed above, can you apply your results and analysis to recommending what the metrics could be used as a requirement for a new bank website?

  • Write two non-functional requirements specifying the expected performance for a hypothetical new bank website. Explain the connection between your recommendation and your Jmeter test planning/running in this assessment.
