Research is very important for the early child educators. This is because research allows the educators to make the
comparison between the methods, they are using with children to other kinds of method suggested to them. This comparison is helpful in identifying the effectiveness of the use of applied method. Comparison is also helpful in knowing the ways all the practices can be improved and make is further better.

The use of the research method can allow the educator to test their hypothesis. All the hypotheses are generated from the prior ideas. Conduction of the research allows the researcher to check which method is effective or what possible outcome must be expected by applying the hypothesis. Research helps in providing the literature or theoretical background of the hypothesis which educator tries to apply in its childcare. For example, if an educator wants to check the hypothetic model in its childcare, then he/she will have idea about the possible barrier and expected outcome of the application by conducting research in it.

The conduction of the research is helpful for the educator to know about the latest changes in the education system or introduction of new and advanced practices for the educators to make good interaction with children. Research helps the educator to find out the latest trend followed by other educators all over the world. It also provides the information about the latest techniques or theories related to the early childhood. It also provides the information about the update of all the earlier theories or their applications in case of the children.

The conduction of the research helps the educator to increase its knowledge to various related topic. When a researcher takes one topic and conduct research on it, then he/she was able to know about all the aspects of the topic whether they are positive or they are negative. It provides further information related to the factors affecting the topic or all other topics, which are suggested to understand the better application or reason of the topic. Thus, research help in extension of the knowledge.

The conduction of the research allows the researcher to clear all the facts related to the topic. It helps in improving the quality of the knowledge as educator constantly remain updated about all the changes occurring in the early childhood practices. Researchers able to correct their knowledge and they have a better understanding of each topic related to their field due to regular research. it is necessary to know that regular research about all the things which educators already knows help them in improving the quality of knowledge with every search they made as each time they learn something new about the topic.

The rule of evidence can be defining as the closely related to the principal of the assessment and provide the guidance on the collection of the evidence so that it can be assured that the information is valid, enough, authentic and current. The rules of evidence allow the educator to understand that the practices and methods they are using as an educator for early childhood development is meeting the criteria set in each principle. There are National quality standards and early learning childhood framework, which educators need to apply in their childcare. Rules of evidence provide the assurance that these are applied.

The duty of care in childhood can be defined as the fundamental obligation for all the people working in the childcare irrespective of their roles and responsibilities in childcare to keep all the children safe. It is their legal and ethical duty. It is necessary for the educators to use the evidence-based methods to ensure high quality safety for the children. The conduction of evidence-based research to fulfil the duty of care ensure safe and secure childcare for all the children irrespective of their age, and ethnicity

In evidence-based practices, educator conducts the research and select the practices and method, which have already been tested and successfully applied to another childcare. Evidence-based practices allowed the educator to understand all the barriers and outcomes of their practices. on the contrary, in continuous quality improvement and research, constantly researching about the methods and applications used in the childcare allowed the educator to have updated knowledge about their subject which in return improves the quality of the knowledge. When the educator conducted the research constantly, they in return improve the quality of their research as each time they learn some new and better ways of finding the result.

The national quality standard had been revised and introduced to give the clarification on how quality is rated in education and care services. The numbers of the standard have been reduced from 18 to 15, and the elements from 58 to 40. The language is further clear and all the standard and elements describes a single unique concept. On the contrary, new guidance will clarify the difference between the Meeting NQS and Exceeding NQS rating levels for each standard.
