1. Bags of tea reweighed (2.a) – It is a step which can be avoided. In management terminology can be defined as ‘overprocessing’. Primarily when tea bag’s are weighed in step 1.c
2. Leaves are removed from pans and reweighed (2.e) – Again the overprocessing activity.
3. Leaves are removed from trays and reweighed; poor quality leaves are thrown away (2.j) – Once again the overprocessing activity.
4. Leaves are weighed (3.a) – In given flow chart at 3.c Tea leaves are weighed for the final time, hence it is identified as a overprocessing activity.
