There are two core components to this activity: to develop a draft report framework (plan) as an in-class activity and then using that framework (plan) create an individual report based on the organisation’s/companies organisational performance relating to: organisation culture change and innovation, employee engagement, performance and reward.


Assessment Description


PART A (In-Class Draft Report Framework)


In Week 3/4 you will need to select an Australian organisation/company of your choice from the Australia’s top 200 listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). You can find the list of companies at https://www.asx200list.com/


However, you CANNOT select organisation/company from the Banking, Airline, Supermarkets or the Telecommunication Sectors. You should not be choosing a Franchise Company. You should discuss your ideas with your Facilitator before commencing


As part of the in-class activities, you will develop a draft report framework (that must be signed off by your Facilitator) to assist you in preparing your individual report. Attendance is compulsory for this in-class part of the assessment. Each student will individually submit a copy of their framework via Moodle and their report via Turnitin.


PART B. (Individual Report)


By looking at the organisation’s/company’s website, business articles and Annual Reports, you will be able to see whether it is possible to access enough information about its organisational practices to address the following:

In this project, the detailed discussion will be made regarding one of the leading real estate company of Sydney, Australia, which is Dexus. The assignment is about the culture, workforce and the leadership of Dexus, Sydney, Australia. The article will focus about the organisational culture and the way it faces the competitive real estate market of Australia through its organisational practices. Performance Related Initiative
Dexus is one of the most leading real estate companies of Australia. It only operates within the boundaries of Australia and is operating since 1984. Dexus has the vision to be one of the Australia’s leading real estate companies and is committed to provide their investors with high quality real estate properties in Australia’s major cities. With these Dexus has the strategic objective that they want to accomplish are being a leading owner and manager of Australian office properties and being a wholesale partner of choice for the Australian properties (Dexus, 2020).
To sustain and achieve the mission and vision, it is very important to manage the workforce of the company properly. To properly manage and make the workers perform more, the human resource of the company need to adopt certain steps to improve the performance. Therefore, Dexus has opted for 360-degree feedback appraisal that their entire human resource is conducting with the help of analysing the performances of every entity of the human resource and analysing them against the performance benchmarks. Anand et al. (2018) have discussed that 360-degree is a professional feedback opportunity, which enables the group of co-workers and the managers to provide a feedback regarding a fellow employee or co-workers performance.
However, 360-degree is different with respect to the performance appraisal because in performance appraisal the performance view is provided by the managers only. The performance parameter was based on the amount of job goal an employee has achieved. However, in 360 degree the focus is primarily based on how a workers work affects the work of other workers. In the organisation, the manager asks for the 360-degree feedback and after receiving the feedback the manager the analyses the feedback looking for the patterns of behaviour, in which the notes were taken. From these notes, the manager receives both positive and constructive feedback.
