The new marketing realities which includes the use of technology, globalization, deregulation, privatization as well as the consumer information are the current trends in the marketing world and is showing its efficiency for the business houses but the marketing realities cannot posses its effectiveness without the proper inclusion of the core marketing concepts (Burnett, 2015). The importance of marketing is concerned regarding the fact that it leads to attract consumers in a crowded marketplace and make the customers choose the specific products from the variety of options.
The core marketing concepts such as the needs, wants and demands of the customer, target market, positioning, segmentation, offering and brands, marketing channels as well as the values and segmentation establishes the base on which the marketing realities work without the inclusion of all these concepts the marketing realities like the globalization and the technological advancement would not be much effective (Marušić, 2019).
