Rise of music in 20th century dramatically changed because of the technological advances, hostile political climates as well as huge shifts in style. Theory of relativity by Einstein had contribution in cubism development along
with psychology development that had influence on the subject matter of artistic schools of thoughts. With the rise in technology rapidly, artists got impacted indirectly as well as directly from new artistic materials innovation to themes and subject matter. The most influential art movement in 20th century was cubism that leads to development of candlestick and violin. Another art of European history was renaissance that is sculpture, decorative and painting in parallel with developments that occurred in literature, science, philosophy, technology and music. This is art of classical antiquity but transformation in tradition by absorption with recent developments in art with application of contemporary scientific knowledge.

Jazz had influence on 20th century world music scene with lots of transformations. Early development of jazz was in African American communities all over south with rhythms that reflected cultural influences diversity ranging from West Africa to West Indies indicating from ragtime to blues. These blues as being one of roots, jazz adopted from American art form-ragtime for creation of own syncopated sound which was unique. Sounds of jazz those were danceable, insistent as well as heartfelt spread American culture very quickly to all over globe. Ever mutating style of jazz turned itself into soul, cool jazz and swing music. Further knock on effects of jazz included development of rock and roll in 1950s in US. Various artists from chuck berry to Elvis Presley created rock and roll with the use of musical influences of blues, boogie-woogie as well as jazz. Popularity of rock spread around globe quickly, with groups like rolling stones and Beatles leading to crediting the early 20th century American music like blues for inspirational values.
