Introduction
My name is Lochlan Charlton and I am currently in the final trimester of studying. The main goal that I pursue is to start my own marketing agency. A marketing agent is an important factor in determining the reputation and success of a company. Furthermore, it provides information on the economic consequences that are likely to be triggered by business decisions made in order to grow and expand profit margins, among other things.
This is owing to the fact that a well-connected business has a variety of factors that contribute to its actual quality and trustworthiness, making it a desirable investment in the future. It takes time and effort to build a business with a large reach and high quality standards of operation.
The most important reason for my decision to open my own marketing agency is my enthusiasm for working with my family's small company, which allows me to manage the day-to-day operations while keeping an eye on the financial implications of my decisions in the workplace.
Career path analysis, career goal and self positioning
The job path I picked is that of a management accountant, which is described here. The first is that, given the present climate in which artificial intelligence and robots are playing a significant part in the replacement of human labour, management accounting will continue to be in demand for at least the next 20 years. I also expect sustained economic increase of 7 percent over the next five years, which is consistent with recent trends. Following completion of my trimester degree, I will have a plethora of entry-level employment choices.
According to the results of my employment survey, I discovered a large number of entry-level graduate accounting positions in small firms. In the near term, over the next five years, I will get the necessary experience to recruit in major corporations as well as the necessary expertise to evaluate critical business choices in large corporations. In order to oversee the functioning of my family's company in over the long term and make choices based on my expertise in Australia (Maria Oros, 2020); I believe it is critical for me to get relevant experience while still in Australia.
In addition to the many benefits of working in accounting, there are also significant disadvantages to consider while seeking employment in the field. Marketing professionals are often overworked, and their mental health is at high risk of developing depression and anxiety as a result of the strong job demands they face (Bradley, 2021). Second, working long hours at such workstations might result in less time spent with family and less time spent exercising. Finally, the ordinary accountant has terrible sleeping habits and gets little sleep on a regular basis.
Career goal: A small business or firm internship or part-time work while I'm still in school is my short-term aim. Real-time consumer interaction may be learned via internships and part-time work. In addition, I feel that putting what I have learned in the classroom to use will help me retain more of what I have learned, so I plan to do just that.
