An organization’s most important resource is the people who work in that organization. The quality of the people who work in an organization, that is, the overall value they bring to the organization, is based on the ability of the Human Resources Department to find the right people, bring them into the organization, get them in the right positions, support their continued growth and professional development, and to ensure they are fairly compensated in return for the investment of their skill set into the organization.
