You have read about various aspects of the social regulation debate. Consider an example of social regulation that you know about. With reference to that example, post a response to the following:
1. Describe the marginal costs and benefits of social regulation in your example. Is social regulation economically justifiable in this case? Give reasons for your answer.
2. Which side of the social regulation debate do you agree with? Do you think social regulation is costlier than the benefits it entails, or vice-versa? Give arguments to support your answer.
Off-shoring
Collect and read two or three news clips about off-shoring and its impact on the US economy. Then, keeping in mind what you have read about off-shoring in your textbook, post a response to the following:
